The self-operated micro-pressure regulating valve belongs to the self-operated pressure regulating valve series. It is a type of valve that does not require any external energy source. Controlled by the energy of the medium itself, it falls between the ZZYP and ZZYVP series of self-operated valves. It is mainly used for controlling inlet pressures less than 0.2 MPa.

Principle of Self-Operated Micro-Pressure Regulating Valve

This valve uses a large diaphragm actuator with high and stable output force. It is extremely sensitive to minute changes in pressure and flow, resulting in high control precision. The valve core adopts a single-seat flow-opening (high inlet, low outlet) design. A balance diaphragm is installed at the valve cover (connected to the valve body) to balance the upstream pressure and eliminate unbalanced forces. The downstream pressure enters the diaphragm actuator through the pressure tapping pipe. Compared with the adjusting spring of the diaphragm actuator, if the pressure does not reach the set value (by adjusting and compressing the actuator spring), the downstream pressure increases, and vice versa.
